1892 Columbus and Columbia A Pictorial History Of The Man And The Nation antique book

$31.99 $39.99

Columbus and Columbia A Pictorial History of the Man and the Nation, embracing a review of our country's progress, a complete history of America, a new life of Columbus and an illustrated description of the great Columbian Exposition. Four books in one volume -- Book I by Hon. James G. Blaine, Secretary of State; Book II by J.W. Buel, Distringuished Author and Traveller; Book III, by Prof. John Clark Ridpath, Noted Historian; and Book IV by Hon. Benj. Butterworth, Secretary Columbian Commission. There is a long list of engravings, maps, chards, diagrams, and illustrations -- some color, many black and white. By Allison Publishing Company, Newark, Ohio. Measures approx. 10 5/8"L and 8"W. Over 800 pages -- looks complete. It is in good, age-appropriate condition. I notice a little aging/age wear on the edges and corners of the covers. In photo 7, I show two pages in the beginning of the book with a little tear at the bottom. Take a look at my photos -- they do a pretty good job of showing off the condition of this piece. It's a nice antique book. I gladly combine shipping.
